Hi! My name Lucia Champion. I live in Austin, TX with my husband Marcus and our tabby cat Tigrah. Receptionist by day, photographer-artist-dreamer by night. I was drawing long before I learned to write my name. The art I created as a toddler can be found on some important family documents and the back of a few family photographs. I must have been a handful! 🙂 I got into caricatures and cartoon books in my teens. I would recreate funny memories my family experienced with short story comic books. They always brought back memories and laughter. After that I began drawing my favorite bands and portraits of my friends. There is a binder full of poems I’ve created over my lifetime that I might be brave enough to publish one day. I don’t want my art to look like photographs so it will always be flawed and unperfect…beautiful. I like to create with any medium pencil, acrylic, water color and ink. My favorite is color pencils on black cardstock paper as well as watercolor.
